Faith that lives in service.
Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha Bedford is a multicultural place of worship and community centre—built on equality, sustained by seva, and open to every soul.

A spiritual home with its doors—and heart—open.
One Mandir. Many ways to belong.
Prayer, learning and care—held together under one welcoming roof.
We believe a place of worship should also be a place of possibility.
Our Mandir offers space for prayer and reflection, but its purpose reaches further. It is where neighbours become friends, generations learn from one another and help is offered without judgement.
Guided by the egalitarian philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji, we welcome people of every background. Faith here is active: it is expressed through hospitality, learning and care for the wider Bedford community.
Values you can feel when you arrive.
These are not words kept on a wall. They show up in open doors, shared meals, patient listening and the everyday work of our volunteers.
Equality
Every person enters with the same dignity. Race, colour, creed, gender or ability never changes the warmth of our welcome.
Seva
Selfless service shapes our daily life—from preparing langar to sharing knowledge, time and practical support.
Sangat
Community is something we practise together: across generations, cultures and every season of life.
A story still being written together.
Our history is not only about a building. It is the story of people choosing, again and again, to create belonging through faith and service.
Built around faith and belonging
The Sabha grew from a shared wish to create a spiritual home for Bedford—a place rooted in the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji and open to the wider community.
More than a place of worship
Prayer sits alongside langar, learning, welfare advice, celebrations and practical support. The Mandir is a place to pause, participate and feel held by community.
A living promise to Bedford
Trustees, volunteers and the Sangat keep the doors open and programmes moving—so each generation inherits a generous, useful and welcoming community space.

Care becomes culture when everybody plays a part.
Community-led. Responsibly run.
As a registered charity, we are committed to transparency, sound governance and the careful use of every contribution. Our trustees and volunteers work together to maintain the Mandir, run community programmes and support the ongoing temple project.
The best way to know us is to come as you are.
Visit for prayer, share langar, join a class or simply take a quiet moment. Our doors are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
